Privacy Policy
Who we are
NI Digital ([legal entity name], [registered address], Northern Ireland) builds and hosts websites for trades businesses. For any privacy question, contact us at hello@nidigital.co.uk.
What we collect
- Details you give us through the quote form — your name, business name, trade, the area you cover, and phone number.
- Business information we gather from public sources to build a demo site (for example, your business name and the fact you do or don't have a website).
- Basic technical data your browser sends when you visit, such as approximate location and device type.
How we use it
- To build a demo website for your business and show it to you.
- To contact you about that demo and our services.
- To provide, host and maintain your website if you become a customer.
Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in offering relevant services to local trades, and, once you're a customer, performing our contract with you. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.
Google Maps Platform
To identify local businesses and build demo sites, our systems use Google Maps Platform, including the Places API. Your use of any mapping features, and our use of Google's data, is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. We retain only the Google place identifier as a durable reference; other business details are refreshed from Google rather than stored permanently.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run the business — website hosting, postal delivery for postcards, and payment processing (for example GoCardless and Stripe). They only process data as needed to provide their service. We don't sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep quote enquiries only as long as needed to follow up, and customer records for as long as you're a customer plus any period required by law. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it. Email hello@nidigital.co.uk. If you're unhappy with our response you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
This site uses only what's needed to function and load fonts. If we add analytics later, we'll update this policy and ask for consent where required.
